Summer Whale Watching!
Posted Jul 1, 2009 Print Version     Page 1

For July 1, 2009: Live by the ocean? Or not? Either way, learning about whales is a cool summer activity. Cruise out to sea if you can and learn about them from the experts. Check out these two sites for loads of whale information, even if you're far from the seashore: Capt. Bill & Sons Whale Watch (Atlantic Ocean); Monterey Bay Whale Watch (Pacific Ocean). Most tours provide lots of background information, spotting guides, and ample time to take photographs. This is a very popular family activity.
