It offers students multiple and varied exposure to content in other forms for student learning and achievement. Students can explore the web in a safe, appropriate educational experience.

Archived webinars provide interesting experiences for students. One of these webinars features a virtual field trip to the New York Stock Exchange. Another spotlights Philippe Cousteau, who shows the Gulf of Mexico through pictures and stories to evaluate the effects of the Gulf oil spill.

Teachers can access visuals and video clips for their class presentations to help students understand the concepts being presented. Being able to add components to teacher lessons can increase student interest and engagement as well as achievement.

The best feature is the portability of the iPad, allowing students to access this site in any location with Wi-Fi or 3G. Teachers can immerse students in experiences that stimulate their creativity and imagination, taking advantage of those teachable moments that often occur outside the confines of the classroom.
