Keep an eye on the U.S. Senate on Tuesday, June 13, as it holds hearings on "net neutrality," the concept that Internet content should be uniformly and freely accessible without interference from Internet service providers (ISPs). Pending congressional legislation could permit ISPs to provide access selectively—to sites whose owners have paid fees to move their content more quickly (or exclusively) to ISP subscribers.
